VEHICLE VS TREE ON RHYNE RD ( GASTON CO )

Thursday, February 16, 2012 07:30  Engine 201 responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Rhyne Rd and Jennings Rd.  Engine 201 arrived to find a single vehicle accident with the vehicle hitting a large tree on the passenger side. The was only one subject in the vehicle and was out on our arrival. The patient had minor injuries and we placed patient in spinal protocol for transport.  We stood by for SHP and then cleared the scene at 08:00 hrs

WORKING HOUSE FIRE ON ALEXIS HIGH SHOALS RD (GASTON CO )

Tuesday, February 7, 2012 21:45  Alexis units were dispatched to a reported house on fire on Alexis-High Shoals Rd and Morneyville Lane. Engine 201 and Tanker 204 arrived on the scene to find a single story wood frame structure with heavy fire and smoke showing through the roof. Engine 201 dropped it supply line and laid in about 400 ft. Tanker 204 hooked tight for water supply. Alexis firefighters forced entry into the structure and started an interior attack, pulling ceilings to make access to the attic.. The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes but had alot of overhaul inside due to part of the roof collapse. Two additional department were called to assist with this task. The Gaston County Fire Marshals Office was called out to investigate the cause of the fire. Units remained on the scene till about midnight.  Units that responded were Alexis 201, 203, 204, ,and 200. Mutual Aid Departments were High Shoals, Spencer Mt, Lucia Riverbend, East Gaston and Ranlo.

VEHICLE FIRE AT OLD PLAND RD GROCERY ( LINCOLN CO )

Sunday, January 29, 2012 23:32  Engine's 203 and 201 responded to the 6000 block of Old Plank Rd for a reported vehicle fire. Engine 203 arrived to find a vehicle  fully involved in the Old Plank Grocery parking lot . Engine 201 arrived and assisted 203's crew with extinguishing the fire. There was no injuries but the vehicle was a total loss.

CHRISTMAS MORNING HOUSE FIRE ( LINCOLN CO )

Sunday, December 25, 2011 06:OO AM  Both Alexis stations responded to a reported house fire early Christmas morning, on Brevard Place Rd just past Paysour Pond Rd. Engine 201, 200, 203, and Tanker 204 responded within one minute of the call being dispatched. Car 200 arrived on the scene to report a single story structure with heavy fire through the roof on the A/D side. Engine 201 arrived first and started and interior attack. Engine 203 and Tanker 204 arrived and supplied manpower and water.  The fire was brought under control within 15 minutes. Units stayed on the scene for several hours for overhaul.  There were no injuries and all subjects in the residence made it out safely due to the families dog. East Lincoln and Boger City assisted on the call and the Lincoln County Fire Marshal and Sheriffs Department investigated the fire.

SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING TO ALEXIS

Friday, December 9, 2011  On Saturday, December 17th,  at 11am, the Alexis fire trucks will be taking Santa Clause around the fire district for our annual " SANTA RIDE" Santa will be giving out treat bags to all the good little boys and girls. VEHICLE JUMPS RAILROAD TRACKS IN IRON STATION (LINCOLN CO)

Thursday, November 17, 2011  Engine 201, Engine 203, and Car 200 responded to Hwy 27 and Blueberry Ln for a reported MVA with injuries. Engine 201 and Car 200 arrived to find a single car accident with two patients. The vehicle was traveling on Rhyne Forest Dr, crossed Hwy 27 onto the  rail road tracks, jumped the tracks and landed in the front yard of a residence on Blueberry Ln. Engine 201 canceled Engine 203 and had them standby at the main station.. Car 200 arrived assumed command and Engine 201's crew placed patients in spinal protocol. LCEMS transported two with injuries.

VEHICLE OVERTURNED ON MT ZION CHURCH RD ( LINCOLN CO )

Monday, November 14, 2011  Engine 201 responded to a single car accident on Mt Zion Church Rd , just inside Lincoln Co in our first due area. Engine 201 arrived  to find a SUV on its side. The driver was out of the vehicle and had minor injuries. Alexis units stood by to assist with traffic control till released by SHP.

VEHICLE CRASHES INTO BACK OF PARKED LOGGING TRUCK ( GASTON COUNTY )

Tuesday, November 8, 2011  Engine 201, Car 20 , and Truck 208 responded to a reported two car MVA on Charlotte St near Maplewood Dr. Engine 201 and Car 20 arrived to find a passenger car had run into the back of a parked logging truck  on the side of the road. The driver of the vehicle was transported to GMH and no one was in the truck. We stood by till SHP arrived and cleared.

OVERTURNED VEHICLE ON CHARLOTTE ST ( GASTON COUNTY )

Friday, October 28, 2011   Engine's 200 and 203 responded to a reported two car MVA with one overturned. Engine 200 arrived and found a two car accident with one overturned on the side of the roadway. The patients of both vehicles wasn't around the vehicles. Engine 203 arrived and set up the light tower to light up the scene. The patients were later located at a residence on Charlotte St. They were taken to GMH with minor injuries.
